Our goal is to give Satchl users the ability to simply open and scan a single Satchl token wherever they would scan a card or app.
When you create an account with Satchl, we verify your phone number and email and then assign a token to your device. This token appears as a QR code on the "Scan" page of the app. Satchl works with Vendors so after Satchl users vendor accounts to their Satchl account (sometimes this is done automatically through the verified phone/email), Satchl users can simply scan their Satchl token instead of using the vendors’ barcode, QR code, temporary PIN, etc.
Features:
Multiple tokens: you can add additional tokens to assign to other phones that will use the same account information. Each token will be unique but will tie back to the same Satchl account.
Limited tokens: making a token "limited" restricts the device tied to that token to simply scanning their Satchl token. They will not be able to make any changes to tokens, accounts tied to Satchl, or the Satchl account. "Limited" can be turned off by another device on the same account that is not "limited", by signing in at satchl.com, or by entering the password when prompted on the "limited" device. This feature is found in the "Modify" section of a token.
Auto Enroll: this feature is to be used with some loyalty programs. It allows Satchl to provide the verified email and/or phone number to applicable vendors with the goal of jump-starting enrollment into their loyalty program. We built this in to Satchl because we believe it should be just as easy to enroll in a loyalty program as it is to use it. This feature can be turned on/off in the "Modify" section of a token.
